One of the heaviest bells we've ever carried at 30 pounds, our solid brass and painted cast iron railroad bell is a fraction of the cost of most similar sized bells we've seen. Solid brass 8.5" diameter bell high polished finish, is rung with a turn of the cast iron handle--just like railroad bells of yesteryear. Six-inch diameter cast iron base has four screw holes for mounting to a wood post, desk, or rail.

Why the glasses? While we don't get many returns on our quality product, the ones we do get are invariably because our low prices make people think they're getting a smaller bell than what arrives!
