ANTIQUE VICTORIAN GOLD METAL & GLASS MIRROR DISPLAY PERFUME FOOTED PLATEAU TRAY.

Incredible antique tabletop plateau/tray. Also has a wire if you want to use it as a wall mounted mirror. Beautiful bronze or brass ormolu style frame with a mirrored top surface. Frame has figural dragons and doves among other beautiful classical ornamentation. This is a great piece for displaying any number of things. Would be a nice perfume or jewelry tray. Any other small objects will look nice with the mirror showing off the pieces reflection(s) and adding to viewing angles. Could be used to serve drinks or appetizers, allowing a special bottle to be shown off. The piece is 12” across the top, 17” long, and approximately 1.5” high. It weighs over 5lbs. It appears to be bronze but could be a brass alloy I suppose. It looks great with its old patina. The cast bronze and mirror looks quite old. I have it listed as Victorian era but it’s possible that it’s older than that. This item came in a lot from a high end Boston area auction house. I assume this piece to be French but it’s not marked. Very cool and versatile piece. The mirror has a couple small flaws in its surface as old mirrors tend to get. It’s otherwise in excellent condition.
