ConditionThis antique taperstick is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.
The lion passant, assay mark and date letter of the full hallmarks struck to the underside of the candlestick are all legible; the maker"s mark however has been lost in the casting, which is not uncommon.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these pieces of Georgian silverware.
