Synopsis
A young count who claims to be of Russian origin and an annuitant, vacationing on the shores of a lake (the location is not specified, but the filming took place in Evian), falls in love with a sublime young woman, Yvonne , who is accompanied by her Great Dane Oswald and an eccentric old man, Doctor Meinthe. Gradually, the count will discover the singularity of these beings, and in particular receive many warnings about the young woman he wishes to marry and take to America to show off his talent as an actress. The homosexuality of the old doctor, self-nicknamed the Queen of the Belgians, is also mentioned several times, always in insulting form.
