Signet signature on the reverse (rider on horse, see pictures). Numbered 1/10, Wittkamp Elmenhorst foundry stamp. Dimensions: 40 x 30 x 19 cm. Weight: 11.5 kg. Very good clean condition. With a museum label on the underside (Pachen inventory no.: 0347). The bronze comes from the art collection of the couple Heinz (1922-2006) and Hella Pachen (1928-2007) and was exhibited in the "Museum Pachen - German Art of the 20th Century" in Rockenhausen, Rhineland-Palatinate.
Hanno Edelmann (1923 in Hamburg - 2013 ibid) was a German painter, graphic artist and sculptor. 1937 Lithographer training. In 1948 he studied art at the Hamburg Academy of Fine Arts with Professor Krubeck and Willem Grimm. Study trips to Greece, Holland, Italy and Spain.
