This original Vietnam War U.S. M1 helmet liner was manufactured by Firestone in 1963. At its front, beneath its original field repaint, is a recently-applied 28th Infantry Division insignia. The liner retains its original, albeit tearing, OD#7 (green) cotton suspension. It comes with its original headband; the manufacturer's marking is unfortunately faded beyond legibility. Use the larger picture option to view all the details of this item.
