Our fountains are different from almost all other floating fountains in that:
1. The pump suction is located at the BOTTOM of the pond. This provides maximum water circulation. Others only circulate the water near the surface at the fountain head.
2. There is no need for “tethering”. The fountain will stay where you put it and will always be directly over the pump!
3. The fountain will operate in pond depths from 5 feet to 13 feet.
4. The pump container is specially designed to permit water flow while preventing mud and debris (and fish) from entering the pump.
5. The nozzle is designed for easy removal for changing nozzle types or for cleaning.
6. All units are constructed using durable non-corrosive materials - UV resistant plastics and Stainless Steel clamps. The fountain head is white in color which is very resistant to UV deterioration or color-fading.
Display height is approximately 8 feet, and width is approximately 16 feet in diameter using a standard ½ to 3/4hp sump pump that you supply.
This fountain kit is for large ponds only! This is not intended for use with small decorative garden ponds. Please note the spray height and width above!

We do not endorse or recommend any particular brand of pump as there are many good ones out there. Please purchase a good quality pump, such as a Wayne, Ridgid, Gould, Flotec, etc. that have an output rating of around 4,000GPH and a discharge outlet size of 1.5”. These pumps are typically available at Lowes, Home Depot, Builders Square, Menards and other quality hardware stores. Beware of pumps labeled as “Fountain Pump” as these are usually small pumps made for garden ponds.
With our complete, easy to assemble instructions, you will just need a small amount of assembly for your beautiful fountain. It won’t be long until you can relax and enjoy your pond with a new Sylvania Fountain.
