Vintage amber glass jar manufactured by Armstrong Cork Co. Bottom is marked '8 oz., Armstrong, 21 :58:, U.S.A.' (logo has the Circle-A mark with “rmstrong” [the rest of the name] extending to the right). Manufactured sometime between 1938 - 1969. Measures 5 1/4" high with lid, 2.25" square, has a 1.5" opening. The top is threaded and it has a metal lid that reads 'Reseal Tightly' on it (faded red letters). Jar in excellent clean condition. Lid has some spotty surface rust here and there. The Cork Factory building is now a historic landmark of Pittsburgh PA and was converted into luxury loft apartments in 2007.
