The Deniliquin Ute Muster is the largest event of its kind in the world. It began as a celebration of all things Australian and the Australian icon of the ute, and has developed into a two-day festival with live music concerts, ute driving competitions, show and shine arena, and bull ride. The event first ran in 1999 to give the local economy a boost amid a crippling drought. Around 20,000 people attend the event every year.
