Comtac II headsets have dual ear-cup microphones to let wearers hear ambient sounds 360 degrees along with the capability to suppress gunshots and other high impact noises. Cup microphones provide talkthru listening capability. Electronics will instantaneously suppress harmful impact noises to 82 dBA inside the earcups, while amplifying up to 18 dB ambient noises/voices. 1 AA battery in each cup, 270 hrs battery life, waterproof battery housing design.
There are two radio microphones on each side of the earphones, which can receive sound from the external environment of the earphones. You will not become unable to hear the sound from the external environment after wearing the earphones. There is one No. 7 dry battery installed in the left and right earmuffs of the earphones, which is used to power the electronic noise reduction components. When there is a burst sound, the earphones automatically turn off to protect the hearing organs. When the burst sound passes, the earphones automatically turn on and start working again.
Special attention: When discharging the battery, pay attention to the positive and negative poles, otherwise it may cause the pickup function to not be activated!
