ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This beautiful, and very rare 2LP box set from Urania (URLP 405, US pressing, blue labels, mono) features Hans Rosbaud's path-finding account of Mahler's Symphony No. 7, made with the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra in 1953, and published that year in this Urania set, its finest possible pressing, now 70 years old! The striking cover art is by Robert Galster.

CONDITION – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.

The condition of the box is EXCELLENT. There is some light aging, but that is all. There are no bends, seam splits, owners’ markings, or other defects, and the box remains solid, bright, and highly attractive – overall, an excellent collector's.

The condition of the two LPs is EXCELLENT. Surfaces are not CD silent, but any noise is fairly minor. Nonetheless, if you must have flawless or NM surfaces, then please do not buy this set – overall, this rates as an excellent collector's copy, and really about as fine a copy as one is like to find nowadays.

PLEASE NOTE:
All LPs are provided with a new Nagaoka (or Nagaoka-style) inner sleeve. The images I've provided are of the actual item you are potentially bidding on - these are not stock images or images I've taken from other sites. Bid with confidence!
