Greetings!

Thank you for looking over this listing.

The vital statistics:  One 1851 Netherlands 2-1/2 Gulden silver coin featuring King Willem (William) III on the obverse. Sword privy mark on the reverse.  Silver, 0.9450 fineness; 25 g (0.88 oz) weight, actual silver weight 0.7595 troy oz, 38 mm (1.5 in) diameter.

The coin is in strong very fine condition.  Broad contours and a many fine details of the coin's designs are clear; letters and numerals are sharp and legible. However, some really unfortunate scratching on the neck of the obverse bust degrades the coin's condition. The coin was also cleaned earlier in the chain of ownership.  (I obtained this piece from a Dutch numismatic wholesaler.  I've observed that European sellers feel quite free to clean older coins when they are in average circulated condition.)

The coin shown in the images is what you will receive upon purchase.  If you are dissatisfied with the piece after receiving it, I am happy to accept returns and will ensure that you receive a full refund.
