Antique 19th Century Indian Storage Dome Top Chest Holds 6 Bottles Decanter Wine.

This is an incredible antique 19th century handcrafted and hand painted storage chest made in India. I believe its purpose is for storing wine bottles, liquor bottles, or decanters. The inside is separated into 6 even sections so it can hold up to 6 bottles. Each section should be able to hold any bottle around a foot tall. All the hardware seems to be brass or iron, although im not 100%. The construction and overall design is top notch. It's heavy duty and quite sturdy, so it's able to protect whatever you decide to store in it. The chest is handpainted on all sides along with the top with scenes of monkeys in their natural habitat. The artwork is surprisingly still pretty clear after such a long time. It may have a protective coating since the surface seems to be somewhat smooth. It's very decorative and would look wonderful in any room. The art style is a bit crude. However, it is done in a manner that is very unique and captivating.
