Imperial thread sizing is NOT straightforward.
Measure the 'approximate' diameter of the thread in millimetres then refer to the sizing guide below to see the corresponding BSP (British Standard Pipe) size in inches.
BSP Thread Size (Inch) = Apx Thread Diameter (mm)
½” = 21mm
¾” = 26mm
1” = 33mm
1 ¼” = 42mm
1 ½” = 48mm
2” = 60mm
