This is a 1988-S Proof Silver Olympics Commemorative Dollar coin.

Complete with box and COA.

The coin depicts Liberty’s Torch and the Olympic Torch merging in a single flame, with the words “Olympiad” and “Liberty” on the obverse.

The U.S. Olympic Team Logo framed by olive branches is on the reverse. 

The coin is sealed in a clear acrylic capsule from the mint.

It was produced at the San Francisco Mint.

This design issue commemorated the United States participation in the 1988 Olympic Games.
