Antique Cabinet Card Photograph. Identified as Charles Muzzy. The reverse side tells us he was associated with the Traveler's Inn in Plymouth, NH, but whether he was the owner or just a lodger is uncertain. Photo by Rosebrook studio, Lancaster, NH. Measures approximately 4.25 x 6.5 including mount. Condition: This is an original antique photograph, not a copy or reproduction. It is somewhat light in contrast, but otherwise in excellent condition. Comments: We also have in our inventory a cabinet photo of Henry Muzzy which came from the same small collection, and is sold separately. The portrait of Henry was taken in a studio in Manitou, Colorado. They look enough alike to be brothers, which we are inclined to believe is so. | |
