AN-32P
firefighting aircraft produced by the Kyiv Aviation Plant "AVIANT"
(1993). The machine is built on the basis of the AN-32 serial military
transport aircraft and is intended for extinguishing forest fires, delivering
30 paratroopers, special firefighting equipment and cargo to the place of
firefighting. It can exert an active influence on clouds in order to
artificially cause precipitation over the burning zone. The aircraft is
equipped with four external removable tanks of 2000 liters of fire extinguishing
agent each, which can be discharged all at once or sequentially.
The
first flight of the An-32P was made on February 16, 1993. The first use was
extinguishing a forest fire in the mountainous Crimea - in the fall of the same
year. When 8,000 liters of fire-extinguishing substance are dropped from four
tanks from a height of 40-50 m, it provides an extinguishing strip 120-160 m
long and 10 to 50 m wide. The crew consists of 3 people. The flight range is
700 km. Cruising speed of 500 km/h and 220 - when extinguishing a fire.
An
effective tactic of using the AN-32P is the use of a link consisting of three
aircraft. Lanka not only carries out the extinguishing itself, but also creates
conditions for the impossibility of fire spread by dropping the fire extinguishing
substance in front of the front of the fire element.
Fire
boat PC-10/130 (UMS1000), created on the basis of the development of Kyiv
artists UMS boat (2009) using new technologies. Provides extinguishing of fires
in the water area of rivers, lakes and the coastal zone of the sea. Delivers
8 people, 200 liters of foaming agent, a supply of fire hoses and other fire
equipment to the fire scene. A Darley PSM 1500 with a supply of 100 l/s is
installed as a pumping unit. The main fire-extinguishing substances (water,
foam) are supplied by two carriage barrels of the combined type, their control
is remote, the jet length is up to 100 m. The speed of the boat is 45 knots (80
km/h).
Fire
tank or tracked fire engine GPM-54-01 - a high-terrain vehicle was developed in
Kyiv by the forces of the 482nd Design and Technology Center of the Ministry of
Defense. The first prototype of the machine was built in 1978 at the Lviv
Armored Tank Repair Plant. The base of the tracked fire truck was a T-54 tank
without a gun turret and ammunition. The main purpose is to extinguish fires of
a high degree of complexity in extreme conditions with the help of water and
air-mechanical foam.
It has
a wide application profile with significant crew protection. It can transport
personnel of fire brigades, firefighting equipment to the scene of the fire,
and thanks to armored protection - carry out emergency rescue operations at
military arsenals, bases, ammunition depots, oil wells, and clear passages to
fire stations. The crew is 2 people. The machine delivers 9,000 liters of water
and 1,100 liters of foaming agent to the extinguishing site. The pump capacity
is 60 l/s. Water and fire-extinguishing foam are supplied by a carriage barrel
of a combined type. Its control is remote or manual, the length of the jet:
water – 60 m, foam – 36 m. Extinguishing small fire centers is carried out with
the help of manual barrels. Weight with full load - 43 tons. Speed of the
machine - 25 km/h.
Combined
extinguishing vehicle AKG-2/5 (63221) model 262-02 produced by the Prylutsk
factory "Pozhspecmash" (2003). The car is built on the KrAZ-63221
chassis and is intended for the protection of objects with an increased fire
hazard. Finds use for extinguishing fires of flammable liquids, gas fountains,
as well as fire-extinguishing powder of electrical installations under a
voltage of up to 1000 V. Delivers 3 people, 5000 liters of foaming agent, 2000
kg of fire-extinguishing powder and other fire-fighting equipment to the place
of fire.
The car
supplies water from a hydrant or other water source using a pump with a
capacity of 60 l/s. The fire-extinguishing powder is supplied by compressed air
(stored in five-fifty-liter transport cylinders) from a carriage barrel with a
capacity of 40 kg/s to a distance of 45 m or by one or two manual barrels. The
latter are used for extinguishing local centers of fire. The fire-extinguishing
foam is created by the "Purga" carriage unit, which delivers a jet at
a distance of up to 50 m. The unit is manually operated. The speed of the car
is 85 km/h.
