A extremely rare and never worn, new with tags Speedo S2000 men's swim brief, debuted at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. Size 30“.

The S2000 is famously the very first technical suit invented by Speedo. It reduced drag by 15%. And started the race by the big swimwear manufacturers Speedo, Arena, Nike and Adidas for more technical fabrics. This suit is similar to, and the forerunner of, the Nike Teraz (invented in 1997) and the Arena X-Flat (invented in 2000)

The innovative S2000 fabric meant 53% of the swimming medals at the Olympic Games in Barcelona 1992 were won by wearers of the Speedo S2000 that same year.

This suit is in remarkable condition – in new, with tags, condition. Never worn. The material appears new and stretchy and the seams in perfect condition. The front logo is clear and unblemished. The 'S2000' on the rear is slightly cracked - see photos for detail.

The age and pristine condition of this suit, make it a real rarity. There are very few, if any, of them available.
