ST MAWES, CORNWALL
This attractive little, town, with something of a Mediterranean atmosphere and setting, is situated on the promontory romantically named Roseland, opposite Falmouth, from which it is separated by three or four miles of sea. This photograph was taken in April before the season when the visitors begin flocking in. Considering that it is quite a small place, St Mawes has become a popular all-the-year-round resort, for in addition to its sheltered position, it is fortunate enough to have excellent hotels catering for even the most discriminating visitors.
