INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR SILICONE HOT PAD HEATER:
1. CLEAN AND SAND RESERVOIR TO BARE METAL. REMOVE ALL DIRT, GREASE, OIL AND
OTHER CONTAMINANTS USING A DEGREASING SOLVENT. DO NOT USE GASOLINE OR
ACETONE.
2. IF HEATER IS TO BE INSTALLED ON A VEHICLE, TRY TO RUN THE ENGINE TO
PRE-WARM
THE OIL PAN.
3. PEEL OFF BACKING AND APPLY PAD TO RESERVOIR MAKING SURE THAT THERE ARE NO
AIR POCKETS OR CREASES IN THE PAD. USE A ROLLER OR SPREADER TO REMOVE THEM.
4. SEAL THE EDGES OF THE HEATER WITH HIGH TEMPERATURE SILICONE TO INSURE
PROPER PROTECTION TO THE EDGE OF THE HEATER.
5. SECURE THE CORD UP AND OUT OF THE WAY OF ANY OBSTRUCTIONS, MAKING SURE
THAT IT DOES NOT HANG DOWN FROM THE PAN OR TOUCH ANY HOT OR MOVING
NOTE:
1. Do not cut pad.
2. Do not use on batteries
3. This heater can only be used on a metal pan or tank with a smooth float
surface.. It should never be installed on a plastic or poly container.
