Description

Two interesting books relating to the sons of Charles and Diana, the Prince and Princess of Wales. Included here:
* A Royal Baby Book for the Prince and Princess of Wales. Copyright 1981, Pan Books, this book was clearly created prior to the birth of Prince William as there are empty pages for photos of the Prince to be attached and the baby's name is not mentioned anywhere. The book has plenty of photos of both Charles and Diana as they grew up, from their engagement, and also incudes a family tree. There are also some rather ironic quotes. Most are attributed to Charles, for example: "The whole point about the marriage contract was that it was for life" "One of the reasons the divorce rate goes up is because people no longer feel marriage is important" "I'm sorry there is only one of her. I haven't got enough wives to go round" "My marriage has to be forever" but there are one or two attributed to Diana including "You know I can't say anything about the Prince or my feelings for him" and "it's what I wanted; it's what I want" The book is in very nice condition and complete with dust jacket.
* The Royal Baby Book by Phoebe Hichens, with over 150 illustrations including 120 in full color. Has photos of Diana prior to and after the birth of her second son Henry Charles Albert David (better known as Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex). Also has a dust jacket and is in very nice condition. 64 pages, copyright 1984 Crescent Books. This book also has a Royal Family Tree, with a couple of pages relating to each of the following - The Queen Mother and her Daughters, Elizabeth and Philip, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, Anne and Mark, Lady Diana Spencer, Charles and Diana, Charles and Diana: Married Years, Royal Cousins, Prince William, William's First Two Years, The Royal Family Tree and The Royal Baby. And as with the other book also has some rather ironic quotations including: "Charles said his two sons got along beautifully right from the first moment" Has an inscription To Grandma dated 1986

Ontario residents will be charged HST, buyers from other areas may be charged sales tax. Prices are in CAD.

SHIPPING

We ship by Canada Post calculated shipping with the purchaser paying the cost of shipping. If you are purchasing more than one item please don't pay for each item individually. Wait for an invoice, we combine shipping whenever possible. We are no longer able to ship some items outside Canada by letter mail as the postal system is now returning them to us, and have had to switch to calculated, non-tracked shipping instead.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS (OUTSIDE CANADA/US) PLEASE CONFIRM SHIPPING WITH US. THE CALCULATOR ISN'T ALWAYS ACCURATE, WE MAY BE ABLE TO SHIP TO YOU FOR LESS- OR OT NOT AT ALL.
Tracking is included in the shipping cost for our mutual peace of mind. We do our best to ship within 3 postal business days of receiving payment but have been trying to limit our trips to the post office to twice weekly. We are not able to ship to some areas; if you don't see a shipping cost please confirm with us whether we are able to ship to you. Delivery date estimates are just that, factors beyond our control can cause parcels to arrive later than the estimated delivery date.
