The book measures approx, 14.3cm by 21.7cm and contains approx 234 pages with a colour illustrated frontis and occasional illustrations throughout.
The book is complete with no loss.
Good general condition foxing to the closed page edges and a previous owners pencil signature on the first blank endpaper.
A 1958 "The Times" newspaper obituary clipping for Gibbings is also present.
The cloth bound coverboards are in a good general condition.
The dust jacket has not been price clipped but has some fading and edge chips.
