Discover
The World of Science

January, 2000

DISCOVER is a popular monthly science magazine that is written with a college level reader in mind, but the articles are less technical, less documented, and less detailed than you'd find in SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN or NATURE. They can be read casually, feature wonderful (and sometimes spectacular) illustrations, and are generally easy to understand. Besides the featured articles, there's also a lot of brief "READER'S DIGEST" type articles of the latest research, as well as the "gee whiz!" type stories that are fun to read. For students writing term papers, DISCOVER is a good place to start.
