Here is a stunning 28 x 20 inch OFFICIAL POSTER for the INAUGURAL EXHIBITION of artwork for the GRAND OPENING of the NATIONAL STEINBECK CENTER in JOHN STEINBECK'S hometown of SALINAS, CALIFORNIA on JUNE 27, 1998. With artwork by ART LANDY, the brightly colored poster shows the theme of the exhibit (THIS SIDE OF EDEN-IMAGES OF STEINBECK'S CALIFORNIA), the dates (INAUGURAL EXHIBITION-JUNE 27, 1998-SEPTEMBER 13. 1998) and the location (NATIONAL STEINBECK CENTER-SALINAS, CALIFORNIA). The poster is brand new and never used or displayed. No pinholes or tape of any kind. There is some bumping to the poster edges in a couple of spots and a small, INTACT "chip" at the bottom of the left side (can be easily matted out) and is priced accordingly. It will be mailed rolled in a sturdy tube. A nice addition to any Steinbeck/poster collection.
