This is a highly detailed 1/10th scale bust sculpted by Lucas Bezerra and is the first full kit designed and produced by Scale Collectables
The 54th Massachusetts was a Union Army Infantry Regiment made up of African American volunteer enlisted men during the American Civil War
The Regiment were portrayed in the 1989 movie "Glory" which followed their early conception as one of the Union's first black units to their heroic assault on Fort Wagner where they received over 40% casualties
The bust is printed hollow with 2.1mm walls and internal support so is strong but light and easy to mount on a display plinth if desired
The kit comprises of 5 parts including a crest to attach to a wooden display base
The bust requires assembly and painting by the modeller but each kit is individually inspected and cleaned up which means this is a minimal and easy process before you apply any undercoat or paint. The parts can be fixed using superglue or epoxy resin adhesive
This is one of many kits I will be selling under the Scale Collectables name which have been designed by some of the best digital sculptors
