1050 H14 is a bendable grade of a minimum 99.5% pure aluminium.
It is often used for vehicle modification projects, panels for classic cars, kit card and sports cars.
It has excellent formability and is suitable for MIG and TIG welding.
The benefits of 1050 H14 aluminium is that it has excellent corrosion resistance and is ideal for anodising or powder coating. Owing to this feature it is often used in the manufacturing of signs and curtain walling.
It is suitable for use on commercial vehicle bodies, horse boxes, trailers and caravans.
Aluminium is a softer metal than stainless steel. It is also lighter in general.
