This Franklin Library hardcover leatherette is in NEAR PERFECT condition with no markings inside or out and no attached bookplates. The spine is tight and strong. The corners are sharp and straight. The gold gilt is nearly flawless. Everything is bright and shiny. There are no real imperfections. I've personally never seen this particular book in better condition.

Franklin Library hardcover leatherette books are extremely durable and well-constructed, using the same beautiful archival acid-free paper as their top-tier premium Limited Edition Leather books. The leatherette cover editions are highly resistant to scratches, gouges, dents, or other abrasions and damage. Much more so than genuine leather, which generally requires careful handling and some maintenance to remain in the same condition over the years. The rugged nature of the leatherette cover and binding also makes it a great on-the-go option without comprising the reading experience. Which also makes them a great choice for a child or teen! I can't say enough about how underappreciated these amazing books are.
