This
retired set was produced exclusively for The Toy Soldier Company by
Accurate Figures in England in 1998. This lot features 10 figures
in all 10 poses (1 of each pose). Originally sculpted to be British
Infantry set #2, we had them made in dark blue color for use as American Regular Infantry. The
set is sold in factory-fresh, unused, mint condition.
Accurate produced the best Revolutionary War figure ever made in plastic. Their 2 sets of Militia and 2 sets of British Infantry have been the benchmark for this era since they were first released in 1988. They are unexcelled for their sculpting, attention to detail and variety of poses. They are the perfect complement to such other 1776 colonials as Marx, BMC, A Call to Arms, Barzso and Classic's Alamo Texicans and Backwoodsmen. We also use them as sailors in Napoleonic Navies!
Please note - these figures,
produced in the 1980s, are made of an extra-fine quality soft plastic
and will not break or shatter with normal use. We do not stock the
brittle figures which are currently manufactured, as they tend to lose
parts to breakage such as bayonet tips, swords and gun barrels when
