Sterling Silver Nut Crackers - Antique George V (1920)

An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique George V English sterling silver nut crackers; an addition to our silver flatware collection

Description

These exceptional antique George V sterling silver nutcrackers have a plain rounded form.

The hinged hallmarked handles of this impressive example of antique silver flatware are plain and unembellished.

The oval ribbed jaws are conjoined with a hinged, hallmarked shaped bridge.

Condition

This pair of antique silver nutcrackers is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The hallmarks struck to the interior of one the handles, in addition to part hallmarks to the other handle and bridge of each nutcracker are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the superior gauge of silver.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these sterling silver nut crackers by Mappin and Webb.
