This fine antique Edwardian sterling silver photograph frame has a rectangular shaped form.

The surface of this Edwardian photo frame is plain and embellished with an impressive embossed reed and leaf decorated border paralleling the shaped rim.

The rectangular internal window is encompassed with an embossed tied husk decorated border.

This impressive photo frame has a velvet covered back and hinged strut, secured with two swivel catches; the body and strut of the frame have been recovered in navy velvet replicating the appearance of the original covering.

This antique silver photograph frame is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality for its type and in excellent presentation condition.

There is a pin head blemish to the upper portion of the decoration; this does not detract from the aesthetically pleasing appearance of the frame.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the rim are very clear.
