This exceptional vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver set consists of a punch bowl and six matching drinking goblets.
The punch bowl has a circular rounded form onto a circular domed spreading foot.
The surface of the bowl is embellished with an engraved band of chevron decoration flanked by two wrigglework decorated borders.
One side of the bowl is ornamented with an impressive engraved oval vacant cartouche, accented with a circular motif to the upper portion and bifurcating ribbon design.
The upper rim of the bowl is encircled with an impressive applied bead decorated border.
Each drinking goblet has a plain circular bell shaped form to a waisted pedestal and circular foot.
The surface of each goblet bears identical ornamentation to that of the bowl.
The upper portion of each pedestal is encircled with applied bead ornamentation.
The circular foot of each piece of this silver bowl and goblet set is embellished with a further bead decorated border.
This exceptional set was crafted by the renowned London silversmith C J Vander Ltd.
