Worldwar2 imperial japanese navy case

Description

"Presenting a truly unique historical item - a Type 2 Depth Charge ignition system storage box from the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II.
This depth charge was designed to be launched or dropped from surface vessels and was developed as an improvement to the Type 95 depth charge, the mainstream at that time.
It could be set to detonate up to 150m deep, in accordance with the submerging depth of U.S. Navy submarines, and was officially adopted in October 1943.
The wooden box, inscribed with 'Ignition System, Tracer Powder Tube, Storage Box, Type 2 Depth Charge (1 each) Modified 2' in Kanji, is a fascinating piece of military history.

The Type 2 depth charge comes in three variations - standard, Modified 1, and Modified 2, which only differ in the type and amount of explosive used. With dimensions approximately 45 cm in width, 16 cm in thickness, and 23 cm in depth, this collectible not only carries historical significance but also demonstrates beautiful craftsmanship.
Please note, given its age, some scratches and signs of wear are to be expected. This exceptional piece is ideal for collectors and those with an interest in military history.
Don't miss this opportunity to own a piece of WWII naval history."
