Chemibuild SBR is a water resistant bonding agent, admixture, sealer and primer. Designed to improve water, chemical & abrasion resistance, improve flexibility, plasticity and durability. Ideal for strengthening renders,floor screeds, concrete & patching mortars. Unlike PVA, SBR is suitable for use in areas subject to dampness, high humidity and continous water contact. 

MIXING/DILUTIONS

Bonding Slurry: For screeds, toppings, renders and coatings. Mix 1-2 parts by volume fresh cement with 1 part by volume SBR. Apply evenly to surface, apply screed, topping, render or coating while still wet or tacky. 

Additive for Render: Prime as above and use SBR in mix. Render coat mix, 5-7 litre SBR, 75kg sharp washed sand plus 25kg cement. Apply first render mix to a minimum thickness of 7mm. Scratch surface and leave to set before applying second coat of similar thickness to first. 

Admixture: For floor toppings and screeds add 5-7L per 25kg of cement. Apply topping or screed to a minimum thickness of 12mm.

Water Resistant Primer: Dilute 1 part SBR with 3 parts water and apply to surface.
