Germany Deutsches Reich 1923 Mi. Nr. 315AWa 2 Million M "Rosette" Definitive USED, Expertised / Geprüft INFLA Berlin, CV EUR 26,-
In October and November 1923, a new and very simple series of definitive stamps were issued with values going all the way up to 50 billion Marks. This was the so-called "rosette" series, on account of the elaborate yet simple circular design that also included the denomination in the centre of the design, flanked by four post horns. There were many variations: two printing methods were used for some values, and others were also printed with rouletted (zig-zag) perforations.
