This very ornate, intricately hand crocheted tea cosy is incredible unique and rare. Estimated to be from 1910-1930, based on similar styles of the time. This is similar in style to Mary Card designs, but we cannot confirm this one is hers.
In great condition, there's some slightly discoloration present (see photos) which due to the age are expected. Hand embroidered with the word 'Tea', with crocheted flower adornment at the handle. This piece comes with a shadow box for shipping (from Pottery Barn) which is in perfect condition. This is a great piece to hang on the wall - it's really lovely in the box and a very unusual item for your home.
