Old Spanish Romances (Don Quixote, Gil Blas, etc).--12 Vols-Leather--1881

I am offering a 12-Volume set of "Old Spanish Romances." Published by J.C. Nimmo & Bain, London, 1881-1881. Contained in the set are: 1) The Adventures of Gil Blas of Santillane by Alain Rene Le Sage, Trans. by Tobias Smollett, (3 vols.); 2) The History of Vanillo Gonzales by Alain Rene Le Sage; 3) Asmodeus Or The Devil Upon Two Sticks by Alain Rene Le Sage; 4) The Bachelor of Salamanca by Alain Rene Le Sage; 5) The History of Don Quixote of La Mancha by Miguel De Cervantes Saavedra (4 vols.); and 6) The Life and Adventures of Lazarillo De Tormes & The Life and Adventures of Guzman D'Alfarache by Mateo Aleman (2 vols.). Bound in half leather. Spines are sun darkened. Books show varying degrees of wear but are generally in Very Good condition. Some of the leather spines have dried with exposure to the sun. Some volumes show light wear to heads of spines. Edgewear noted on some volumes. Books are unmarked, clean. I will call the books Very Good. Books measure 5 1/4 X 7 5/8. I have located only one other similar set of these books in all of my internet searches and it is being offered for $1063!!!!!!!!!! I will offer this set for only $550.00 plus $25.00 S&H in the US.
