This Adapter is made to fit FCR 39 Carburetors that have a removable intake bell (like the popular high quality Replica FCR 39 Carburetor that is available on Aliexpress). It enables you to easily and economically upgrade your DR-Z 400 S or SM. It is 3D printed from the material CPE. CPE is temperature resistant up to 80-100 °C, mechanically strong, and has a great resistance against gasoline, oil as well as UV radiation. Other commonly used 3D printing Materials (PLA, ABS) do not fulfill all of these requirements.

The Adapter bolts onto the carburetor and is made to exactly fit the DR-Z 400 S and SM Airboot.

Important design features include:

• venturi geometry optimized for efficient airflow
• sealing lip and outer diameter made to perfectly fit airboot to enable continous airflow and easy installation
• main and pilot air jet bores keep the original vent  

The massive performance and rideability gains that the tuning carburetor for the DR-Z 400 is known for, was so far connected with an investment of around 700$. With the replica carburetor (not part of this offer) it's available for only a fraction of this (around 150$). Unfortunately the generic replica is not made to fit directly into the DR-Z. This is because it comes with generic adapters that prevent the correct installation into the frame due to the carburetor assembly being too long and the diameter of the adapters not fitting the rubber boot and airbox. This adapter is designed so that the original length of the standard carburetor is kept and the airbox fits. This way installation is easy and no challenge even for inexperienced mechanics.
