Goldberg Brothers 35mm Antique Reels Hollywood Metal Distribution Foster Theater. These antique film reels are a must need for any old school adult film collector, any movie historian, or even any Ohio historian. These reels are from the Foster Theater, located in Youngstown, Ohio. This theater opened in 1938, and was built by Joseph Shagrin Sr., who was famed by the Warner Brothers. He was known as "The Broadway man from Youngstown that everyone knew", which shows how respected he was. At the time the theater opened, they were a family friendly theater. In 1960, they started showing more art films. However, in the late 60s, they made their mark as an adult theater: now, 1 out of an estimated 35 adult theaters still left in the U.S. (until they closed in 2020). This proves how historic this theater is, and how valuable these reels really are. The octagonal canister measures 15.5" wide and 15" tall, and the reels measure 14.5" and 14" tall.
