Description
Here is a unique and collectible vintage HO scale diesel F unit A and B unit locomotive set from the old days of model railroading. Cosmetically, I think it has been repainted and perhaps redecalled.
This New York Central AB set has the older style drive which makes little noise but runs well both ways.
The units were made by Varney, I believe. They came to us in a collection of vintage HO items that were mostly Hobbytown of Boston (the vintage train maker, not the hobby store!). Based on the rest of the collection, I am assuming it is a HoB product, but it may not be.
CONDITION: C-6. Tested and runs though a little whiny. Engine looks real nice, but appear to have repainted and or redecalled. It does run a little noisy, like these old ones can, so you will want to lubricate this vintage engine before heavy use. No box.

We do accept returns within 30 days. Unless there was an error on our end, return shipping is paid by the buyer and the price of the item is refunded upon receipt of iback at Lone Star Trains. If we made a mistake, we pay the return shipping. Items must be in the same condition as when we shipped. We cannot accept returns on orders that were shipped new and then opened. If there is a problem, such as an error in description or condition, we accept returns within 30 days.
