This wedding dress was worn in a wedding dress in 1947 in Hamilton, Texas. It appears to be handmade.

Beautiful heavy satin.

The sizing is very tiny (too small for my size 4 mannequin) as the bride was maybe 5-feet tall and wore a contemporary size 2. Please see the measurements below and if you need more, please don't hesitate to ask.

There are a few spots from age and it was only lightly steamed.

The lace is all intact. The covered buttons all seem to be present on the cuffs and back of the neck, although it appears there were more button loops than there were buttons on the back.

The metal zipper on the side is metal.

The sleeves end in a point on the back of the hand. Elbows are stitched to be attenuated.

This dress is the perfect candidate to be updated for a contemporary vintage-styled wedding.
