A unusual novelty solid sterling silver box. It is hallmarked with the import marks for Sheffield 1901 with importers mark being that of Samuel Boyce (or Boaz) Landeck. It has been superbly made in the form of a hat and embossed with flowers and cherubs. It is in superb condition being free from dings, splits, holes and repairs. It measures approx. 1 inch (2.6cm) tall by 2.5 inches (6.3cm) wide and weighs 28 grams. A very unusual piece.
