This model is assembled and painted by the manufacturer's brass product assembly specialists.

This locomotive was built in 1905 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works of the United States and imported to Japan.

When first imported to Japan, it was renumbered several times as Class F2 etc., but was designated Class 9200 under the Railway National Law of 1909.

The locomotive was scrapped in 1967.

The Class 9200 locomotives were called "Daikon" because of its "Big Consolidation Locomotive."

As an aside, "Daikon" is the Japanese word for "daikon" in vegetables, and Big = Dai, Kon is a pun on Consolidation's Con.
