This is a gold plated bronze metal medal depicting the medieval English King Henry II
The medal has the King's portrait, is on the front, along with the years of his reign (1154-1189).
A scene of Henry's penance, after the death of Becket, is present on the reverse.
The medal, ( just under 45 mm diameter), with a proof finish ,is in a good condition with no damage or significant wear.
