Both sides are soaked with raw soul and are unique to the genius that is Mr Pate, sounding as if they were recorded specifically for today's music heads. "You're Starting Too Fast" is not only a guaranteed head-nodder (to be deconstructed by today's producers), but also promises to raise the temperature on the dancefloor. From the aggressive flute intro to the high-end hammond work, it's close to a perfect arrangement of sounds that now seem lost in the computer age. 

The slightly more complex "You Can't Even Walk In The Park" is the big tune from the 'Shaft in Africa' OST. Johnny calls in the classic 70's horns and swinging beat that revolutionized the musical era.
