This is an intriguing cover sent from Gravenhage, Holland, to His Excellency, The Lord Raaj, Governor of Bombay, Indian Office, London, W., England, on September 7, 1886! It was receiving in London on the 8th.

To continue, the gray, 12.5 Cent, Dutch definitive is in excellent condition! The numeral cancel, "44," and CDS from the Gravenhage P.O. are both very fine! The receiving cancel from the London S.W. P.O. is great!

Lastly, as for envelope, itself, it is in great condition for something almost 137 years old! It's pretty clean, butt does have some toning here and there. The back flap is intact, but has a large tear in it. Noted imperfections aside, this is a fascinating piece of 19th Century, Dutch and British postal history!
