Jack Daniel’s first entered V8 Supercars in 2006 as the naming rights sponsor for Larry Perkins’s team. The whisky brand stayed on board when Todd and Rick Kelly took over the squad for the 2009 season. In 2006, Perkins Motorsport had two drivers in the Fujitsu V8 Supercars Series: Shane Price and Jack Perkins. Shane Price finished the series in second place with 1984 points, while Jack Perkins finished in third place with 1597 points.
