Pulham Market
This is more correctly described as Pulham St Mary Magdalene, if only to distinguish it from the nearby Pulham St Mary the Virgin. In the old days it did indeed have a market and it remains a settlement surrounded by farming communities and their property. The village green in spring fulfils every wish of the townsman for the country: the Crown Inn and the church seem to exist contentedly side by side, gazing at a cluster of lovely cottages each more perfect than the last.
