A top quality cased solid sterling silver Royal souvenir jam spoon. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1977 with the maker’s marks that of Mappin & Webb. It has been superbly made with the terminal depicting Queen Elizabeth II and the stem engraved SILVER JUBILEE 1952-1977. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. The case is also superb. The spoon measures approx. 5.5 inches (14cm) long by 1.25 inches (3.3cm) wide and weighs 26 grams excluding the case. A superb example.
