Sir Wilfred Thomason Grenfell (28 February 1865 – 9 October 1940) was a medical missionary to Newfoundland and Labrador. He was sent to Newfoundland initially by the The Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen, but eventually found his own mission, The International Grenfell Association, to provide healthcare and social services in northern Newfoundland and Labrador. This is one of several books he published about his experiences on this mission.

Hardcover book in Very Good+ condition, clean and tight with no marks except the signature (and date) of the Author. Pages are clean and white; hinges are sound. Green covers with black titles on the spine and front and an illustration on front are clean and bright; minor wear at spine ends and corners; spine sun-faded. No dust jacket.
