Add a piece of old British coinage to your jewelry collection with this vintage British one pound coin pendant.

The original £1 coin was introduced in 1983 to replace the Bank of England £1 note. Although the coins featured a depiction of the late Queen Elizabeth II on their obverses, or front sides, the Royal Mint used a wide array of reverse or back-side designs throughout the circular £1 coin‘s run. Designs for the coin's back alternated yearly to honor themes tied to the United Kingdom, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and England. The Royal Mint retired the round £1 coin in favor of a 12-sided design for 2017 and onward.

The coin on this pendant showcases the traditional British coat of arms. The Royal Mint used this back-side design for one pound coins minted in 1983, 1993, 1998, 2003, and 2008.

This coin pendant features a built-in loop for accommodating a separate necklace or chain. The coin on this item is fused into the pendant and cannot be removed.

Whether you’re looking to add some British touch to your style or want to find a fun gift for a loved one, this vintage British one pound coin would make an excellent addition.

Note:

1. No necklace or chain included
2. The coin cannot be removed from the pendant
